How Crisis Pregnancy Centers Lie To Us
Crisis pregnancy centers ("CPC’s") are faith-based "women's centers" that exist to dissuade people from accessing abortion care. CPC’s regularly establish themselves next door to or across the street from real clinics and use a variety of misleading tactics to get patients to come to them instead. Crisis pregnancy centers never offer full-spectrum reproductive health care (including at a minimum referrals for birth control, emergency contraception and abortion for patients who express interest) and propagate dangerous misinformation about these reproductive health services, including lying to patients about ultrasound results and the legal limit for abortion care in their state. The lies these centers rely on are dangerous to your sexual and emotional health.
